Chocolate Covered Banana Skewers

There’s something about dark chocolate…it makes anything taste better. The combination of chocolate and a ripe banana..frozen..on a stick…well who wouldn’t? This is an instant party pleaser, a good snack, or fun for kids.

Chocolate Covered Banana Skewers
~4 bananas

250gm/8oz dark chocolate or a mix of dark and dairy-free white chocolate
4 ripe bananas

Peel bananas and place on waxed/baking paper.

Insert a bamboo skewer into them. You could also halve them and/or cut them into think slices and place toothpicks in them for a bite-sized treat.
Freeze overnight
Melt down chocolate in a double-boiler or a saucepan on low heat.
Dip bananas with chocolate and place on waxed paper.
You can leave them as is or top them with sprinkles, nuts, coconut..whatever your heart pleases.
Freeze for at least 4 hours.
